The building has that distinctive curved architecture that screams early 2000s, and it functions as a general sports and entertainment hub rather than a single-purpose rink.

Families with younger kids will find it useful on a rainy day - there's typically bowling, arcade games, and occasionally ice skating depending on what's on. It's not going to hold attention for more than a couple of hours unless you're seriously committed to the bowling. History buffs and architecture enthusiasts won't find much here; this is functional leisure rather than heritage.

The real strength is proximity. If you're staying at Dundonald Touring Caravan Park just down the road or glamping at The Pods at Streamvale, you've got a weather-proof fallback plan without having to trek into Belfast city centre. It breaks up a caravan holiday nicely when you've done the local walking routes.
