Inside, it's genuinely peaceful - no crowds, no gift shop, just the real thing.

It's worth a visit if you're into old churches and local history, though don't expect grand architecture or heavy tourist infrastructure. The charm is in the simplicity and the fact that it's still very much a working parish church, not a museum piece. Kids might find it a bit dull unless they're the type to enjoy graveyards and church spotting, but walkers will appreciate its location near Cemaes Bay - you can easily combine it with coastal paths in the area.

The church is free to visit (as far as anyone can tell), and you'll want maybe 20 minutes inside unless you're doing rubbings or serious photography. Cemaes Bay itself is only a few miles away and has proper facilities - cafes, shops, that sort of thing.
