Moulton Packhorse Bridge is properly medieval - built around the 15th century to help merchants move goods across the water when pack animals were the only sensible way to shift cargo across Suffolk. You can walk across it in about thirty seconds.

What makes it worth stopping for isn't the crossing itself but the quiet of the spot. There's a small car park, and from there it's a short walk down a country lane. The water below is still enough to reflect the trees in winter, and the bridge photographs well if you're that way inclined.
