Full Gospel Assemblies of God

The Full Gospel Assemblies of God is a working Pentecostal church in Loughborough, and unless you're attending a service, there's not much reason to make it a destination on a park holiday. It's a functioning place of worship, not a tourist attraction, and the building itself holds no architectural interest for casual visitors.

That said, if you're based at one of the nearby caravan parks - Proctors Park or High Meadows Farm are closest - and you're keen on exploring the area's religious buildings or want to attend a Sunday service, it's worth knowing it's there. Loughborough itself is a solid market town with decent amenities, and if you're staying in the region, you'll find plenty more to occupy your time.

The real draw in this corner of Leicestershire is Bradgate Park, about five and a half miles away. That's where you'll spend your time if you're on a proper park break - 850 acres of woodland and open parkland with free access, easy walking trails, and proper views across the East Midlands. It's far better value than hunting out a church building on the off-chance of a look inside. If you're camping locally and want to explore Loughborough's town centre, grab a coffee and a walk along the canal instead. Save the churches for when you're actually there to pray.
