The plantation was established generations ago, and while it lacks dramatic viewpoints or visitor facilities, that's rather the appeal if you're after something genuine.

The main draw here is straightforward: walking among old conifers and mixed woodland, spotting wildlife, and getting away from the coast for a few hours. There are established paths threading through, though nothing particularly strenuous. Families with younger children might find an hour enough before restlessness sets in, while serious walkers could build a longer circuit if they're comfortable with woodland navigation.
