You'll find Kilmadock tucked away near Callander, a proper wee local spot that tells the story of this corner of Stirling. The centre itself is small but genuine - it's the kind of place where you can actually learn something about the area's past without being talked at by interactive screens every five minutes.

What you're looking at is a heritage centre focused on Kilmadock parish and its local history. It's staffed by people who actually know the place, which makes a difference. You'll spend maybe 45 minutes here unless you're really into local genealogy or parish records, in which case you could stretch it to an hour or two.

It works best for anyone doing a proper walking tour of the Callander area or staying at one of the nearby caravan parks - Keltie Bridge or Callander Woods are both within striking distance.
