The Teifi Valley itself is worth exploring - riverside walks are decent hereabouts - so don't treat the hide as a standalone trip. Combine it with a stroll along the estuary path, perhaps grab a coffee in Cardigan, and you've got a solid half-day. Children will find it dull unless they're genuinely keen on birdwatching, but that's not a failing on the hide's part.
