About Land End Copse
This is walker territory, really. Not a destination that'll thrill kids for more than an hour unless they're the sort who actually enjoy spotting trees and birds. The forest floor gets boggy in places, so proper boots are non-negotiable after rain. Allow 45 minutes to an hour for a decent loop, maybe longer if you faff about looking for fungi or stopping to sit on fallen logs. There's no visitor centre, no facilities that I'm aware of - it's just forest.
Fitting it into a holiday based at one of the nearby campsites - Riverside Farm, Sussex Topiary, or Slinfold Caravan Club are all within a few miles - makes sense if you want a morning walk before heading somewhere with more going on. Horsham itself has shops and decent pubs. Land End Copse works best as a break between activities, not as a reason to camp in the area on its own. Free access, as far as I could tell, though do check locally before you visit.
