The field itself is generous, flat, and honestly the sort of spot where you realise how much your dog has been bottled up on suburban walks.

This one's clearly made for families with dogs who've had enough of restricted spaces. An hour here and most dogs are properly knackered, which means a peaceful afternoon afterwards - no complaints there. If you're staying at Stocks Farm Camping nearby, it's close enough for a morning jaunt before the main activities of the day, or a late afternoon blow-out when everyone's getting restless.

There's no faffing about with facilities that I'm aware of - it's a field, not a visitor centre. Bring bags for the obvious reason, and probably avoid it when it's been chucking rain for a week unless you fancy a mud-covered dog for the drive home.
