Nothing fancy, but genuinely useful if you're staying at one of the nearby caravan parks like Beach View or Cakes & Ale and the weather turns grim.

Families with young kids will find the pool decent enough for a couple of hours when rain ruins beach plans. The gym crowd tends to come for proper sessions rather than casual visits. You're not going to queue for hours or feel crowded, which is a relief compared to some leisure centres. Entry fees apply but they're reasonable - though it's worth ringing ahead to check current charges and whether you need to book slots, especially the pool.
