Meg's Mount

A proper woodland walk just outside Cambridge, Meg's Mount is the sort of place locals know about but visitors often miss. It's a small forested area - nothing dramatic, but genuinely pleasant if you want to stretch your legs without heading miles into the countryside. The walk itself takes maybe an hour depending on how slowly you meander, and the trees provide decent shelter when the East Anglian wind picks up.
