This is a straightforward hill walk rather than some elaborate heritage site, so don't expect facilities or interpretation boards. What you get is fresh air, a bit of effort, and genuine perspective on how Swansea sits in its landscape. Walkers will appreciate the simplicity. Families with kids keen on a quick outdoor outing will find it manageable - nothing too demanding, but enough to feel like you've actually done something. History types less so, unless you're into industrial archaeology and spotting the old workings that shaped these valleys.

The climb itself is unshowy. Grassland, some rougher sections, the kind of terrain that keeps you honest without being punishing.
