Nether Corskie stone circle (remains)

You won't find much at Nether Corskie beyond a scattering of stones on moorland near Garlogie, but that's rather the point. These circles are common enough in Scotland that most tourists skip them entirely, which means you'll likely have the place to yourself.

It's free to visit and accessible year-round, though the moorland track can be boggy after rain. If you're staying at Hillhead Caravan Park just four and a half miles away, this makes an easy morning detour before heading elsewhere. Don't expect Instagram moments. Expect solitude and stone.
