Observatory Tower

You'll spot the Observatory Tower long before you reach it - a sturdy stone structure commanding views across the Snowdonia landscape near Talsarnau. It's a proper Victorian-era folly built for gazing out over the mountains and valleys, and on a clear day you can understand why someone decided this particular hilltop warranted a tower at all.
