It's a proper dedicated space where your pooch can run about without a lead, burn off energy, and socialise with other dogs - which frankly means you get peace for twenty minutes.

The park consists of Home Meadow itself, a decent open field where dogs can properly let loose, plus Wagtails Walk, a more sheltered woodland trail if you fancy something gentler. Nothing fancy, but that's the point. There are bins for waste and it's clearly maintained for the dogs that use it regularly.

You'll want to allow about forty minutes to an hour here depending on how much your dog enjoys making new friends. It's free and open most of the time, though it's worth checking locally if conditions are waterlogged - Norfolk fields can get boggy. The walk itself takes you through quieter countryside between Lowestoft and the surrounding villages.
