The collection inside is predictably grand - family portraits, china, the usual landed gentry accumulation - but it's the grounds that justify the visit. If you're staying at Camp De Lank or Mena Farm, you're only forty minutes away, and it makes a solid afternoon outing. Allow two to three hours if you're doing both house and garden properly.
