Rosewall Hill

The walk up Rosewall Hill rewards you with proper views across the St. Ives peninsula and out towards the Atlantic. It's not a climb that'll take your breath away - maybe twenty minutes from the car park depending on your pace - but it's steep enough to feel like you've earned the summit. You get tin mining history written into the landscape itself. The old workings are visible from the top, reminders of when Cornwall's guts were dug out for profit.

It doesn't require special equipment or a guide. If you're already exploring the St. Ives headland or walking the South West Coast Path nearby, it makes sense to add this on. Allow an hour including standing around taking photos and catching your breath at the top.
