It's a straightforward woodland walk rather than a destination with bells and whistles. The appeal is the walk itself - not some carefully curated visitor experience. You're threading through mixed woodland, and on a decent morning, the light filtering through makes it worth the trip. Allow an hour, maybe ninety minutes if you're the lingering type or bringing kids who need to investigate every fallen branch.

Families with primary school-aged children will get the most from this. It's engaging enough to hold attention but not so demanding that smaller legs rebel halfway round. Dog walkers love it, as do people after a quiet woodland stretch without the busier attractions you get closer to towns.
