Sparkford Wood

A proper woodland walk rather than a manicured nature reserve, Sparkford Wood sits just outside Yeovil and feels genuinely off the beaten track. The trees are dense enough that you'll lose the hum of traffic within minutes, and the paths wind through a mix of ancient woodland and younger growth that keeps things visually interesting.
