St Peter's Church Slinfold

The church sits tucked away in the village of Slinfold, about four miles south of Horsham, and it's one of those places that rewards you for taking the country lane detour. St Peter's is a proper medieval church - the kind with thick stone walls, a sturdy tower, and enough history compressed into its structure to keep architecture buffs entertained for a solid hour.

Riverside Farm and Sussex Topiary are also close enough for a morning outing. This isn't Salisbury Cathedral, but it's genuinely worth twenty minutes if you're staying locally and fancy a proper village church rather than another busy tourist attraction.
