Stebonheath Park sits just outside Llanelli and is primarily a sports facility rather than a destination in its own right. It's the sort of place you'd visit if you're playing or watching a match, not for a casual afternoon stroll. The park hosts various football pitches and sports grounds - functional, well-maintained, and clearly geared toward club fixtures and league matches.

If you're here for a game, it does the job properly. The facilities are decent enough, with car parking and the basics you'd expect from a Welsh sports hub. Kids involved in local leagues will know it well; tourists wandering in hoping for something scenic will be disappointed.

Since most of the nearby caravan parks - Gateway Resort, South Wales Touring Park, and Llanrhidian Holiday Park - sit within a couple of miles, Stebonheath could work as a handy venue if your family's got a match on during a park holiday. But honestly, it's not worth planning a trip around. The Llanelli area has far better draws, particularly if you're after coastal walks or proper leisure facilities. Mention it to your accommodation if you've got kids in a local team, but otherwise spend your time exploring the Gower Peninsula or heading toward Swansea proper. This is local sports infrastructure, and that's all it needs to be.
