Strawberry Wood

A proper woodland walk near Stocksfield that delivers without fuss. Strawberry Wood is a small forest tucked into Northumberland's rolling countryside, the sort of place locals know about but tourists often miss. The paths wind through mixed woodland - oak, birch, and the odd conifer - and it's well-maintained enough that you won't spend half your time hacking through undergrowth.
