Teddywood Bear Village

There's a village in South Lanarkshire where oversized teddy bears are the main residents, and it's exactly as daft as it sounds. Teddywood Bear Village, near Biggar, is basically an open-air collection of giant bear sculptures dotted across a small area - think life-sized plush toys made permanent in fiberglass or similar. It's the sort of place that makes you smile the moment you spot the first one.

You wander around at your own pace, spotting bears in various poses and costumes. Some are positioned like they're having a cup of tea, others are dressed as workers or characters.
