Woodbridge itself is a charming riverside town, so you've got proper cafes and pubs to retreat to if anyone gets bored. The museum works well as part of a broader park holiday in the area - stays at Woodbridge Glamping are practically on your doorstep, and Moon & Sixpence is only a twenty-minute drive away. If you're camping at Newbourne Woodland Campsite or Bucklesham Park further out, it's still an easy trip. The museum appeals most to school-age children and anyone interested in Saxon archaeology, though adults without kids will find it a bit slight on detail. Go midweek if you can - weekends bring school groups and it gets cramped. Worth the visit if you're staying locally, but don't build a whole trip around it.
