We stayed in the Shepherd’s hut. Definitely a glamping experience. So close to see the building of the Anglo Saxon long boat.
Wonderful place tucked away off the main road in Melton. Some very friendly animals that will come and see you in your camp, the chickens love foraging by your feet for scraps and the dog has gorgeous puppy eyes if they think you have food to share. We loved the Alpacas and our boy cried on the way home as he missed them already as he loved finding leafs and grass for them to eat out of his hands....
Booked a last minute stay in one of the bell tents this week as we were camping nearby and our tent was leaking with all the rain. Tuuli was sooooo accommodating, friendly and it was such a relaxed environment. We really hope to book to go back in the summer. The site is beautiful and has everything you need. Tents are spacious and clean, we stayed as a couple with our 2 children aged 2 and 3 and ...
Such a lovely trip away. Really nice peaceful space, fun for kids, and lots of brilliant touches. Really felt magical with the fairy lights, bunting, and hammocks. Our one year old was obsessed with the alpacas too. We will be back!
Amazing scenery. Beautiful place to stay. The shepherds hut is so warm and beautiful. Ten minute walk to river . Close to Woodbridge town centre easy to walk there. Hosts are lovely and really care about their guests. Definitely worth the money, Vicky.
