The walk down to Tivoli Park from Lerryn village is half the charm - you'll drop through proper woodland before the trees open up to reveal this small nature reserve tucked into a river valley. It's a modest spot, nothing that'll take your breath away, but genuinely worth the wander if you're staying nearby at one of the holiday parks like Tremeer Farm or Eden Valley.

What you're getting is an old quarry turned wildlife haven. The whole thing is maybe ten minutes to explore thoroughly, though the tranquil bit along the water can feel longer if you're just standing about. Families with young kids will manage it without complaint - there's easy enough ground and the water's pleasant to look at without being dramatic. History buffs might dig the industrial bones of the place, the old workings cut into the hillside. Walkers en route between the river valley spots should factor in twenty minutes or so, though honestly you could be in and out in half that.

The best time is probably spring when things are actually growing rather than dormant. No shop, no café, so come prepared.
