You'll see narrowboats and small cruisers, the sort of place that feels purposeful rather than polished.

If you're staying at one of the nearby parks - Wyton Lakes is practically on your doorstep at under a third of a mile away - this is a natural extension of a morning walk. Waterclose Meadows and Quiet Waters are also close enough for a gentle stroll if you fancy breaking up a day that might otherwise involve the caravan. The marina itself doesn't require hours; thirty minutes gets you the full picture. Come when it's not blowing a gale if you want to enjoy the towpath properly.

It's less "attraction" and more "here's what's actually happening locally". Families with kids will find it mildly interesting - boats hold attention for a bit, and the water is always hypnotic. Serious walkers and anyone with even passing interest in inland waterways will get more from it. It's not a destination in itself, but it's the sort of spot that makes sense when you're already in Huntingdon exploring the town and river system.

No entry fee to wander about, though obviously you'll see mooring fees and all that commercial activity. Free admission, basically. Go when the weather's decent.
