Washingley (abandoned village)

The earthworks around Washingley tell the story of a village that simply vanished. Castle Farm Campsite and Ferry Meadows are both top-rated spots within five miles, making Washingley an easy morning detour before heading out for the day. It's not flashy, but it's quietly remarkable if you know what you're looking at.
