Y Lliwedd (West Peak)

Sharp ridges and knife-edge scrambles make this one of Snowdonia's most exhilarating peaks. Standing at 898 metres, Y Lliwedd forms the dramatic eastern wall of the Snowdon horseshoe, offering experienced walkers a proper mountain challenge with views that'll make your knees wobble - and not just from the exposure.

This isn't a stroll for the Sunday afternoon crowd. The approach from Pen-y-Pass requires serious hill fitness and scrambling confidence.
