Well run tidy campsite, nice flat pitches, plenty of space and easy to navigate. Nice views, good basic facilities. Free showers. Cheap price with no strict rules, very relaxing

One of the most beautiful campsites I have been to. Superb views down the Langdale valley. It's an enormous site so you can always get on even at busy times. Ample facilities that are always clean.

Great campsite for exploring the Langdale valley. No ECU pitches, but who needs that when you have such amazing scenery (we used portable chargers). Basic facilities, but clean and accessible. 516 bus runs from Ambleside to the campsite. The only shop is approximately 15 minutes away in Chapel Stile.

My first time staying here but my partner has been a few times now. Wonderful site! Great facilities, clean and spacious. No signal (which is great!) nice to shut off for a few days. Within walking distance of local shop for supplies and a couple of pubs. First come first served basis, filled up quickly on the Friday night. Keen to come again!
