Beamish Holiday Park

I owned a caravan on the site for around 2 years, it was meant as an escape from a busy working life , and though there are positives , the negatives did outweigh. It's a great site, located within easy walking distance from Beamish, if you're OK with climbing hills! The modern toilet block is spacious and clean, other amenities include a pot washing and food prep area, Elsan, kiddies play area, shop and bar. Do be aware that the roads leading to the site and between the site and Beamish museum are narrow and winding and there are no footpaths at the side ...

Just come home from a week in a lovely static caravan with hot tub. The site is close by to Beamish Museum and other towns to visit. We had a lovely relaxing week. The staff are very polite and helpful. Will return to stay again. Excellent ☆☆☆☆☆

We camped here due to son playing football locally pitch sizes are all cramened with the electric hook ups tripping all the time husband reported someone would check it out but never did went to bar ordered some food 2 chips for £7 and a Chicago town pizza £9.95 lucky if chips had ten in the box absolutely horrendous put us off and no buying any more drinks from here because o...

Awful. Crammed in with no space. No room to manoeuvre. And people have very little space for chairs etc… Really expensive laundry comparatively. We stayed 5 nights and it was hell. We are now in a lovely place and it really shows how awful this place is. Screaming kids. Full time residents swearing talking about fights and police. Our daughter hopefully didn’t pickup any of it!
