This campsite is in a beautiful location, has lots of pitches and I can imagine in the summer it's bustling but at this time of year it felt bleak. The toliet block was interesting. Although a lovely campsite, the showers at amenity block 2 definitely needs updating (the showers has dark wood panels and were not as clean as expected). We were in paddock 6 pitch 10 and has several campers trying to pitch at 9 under an acorn tree they had to move after 1 night, the acorns kept dropping on their roof. Just back from a fab family camping trip here. This is a beautifully well kept family friendly campsite. Good campsite.. Only small gripe was understandiable, as it was a busy weekend so the showers went cold very quickly. I would use the site in the future. Bonus was the food available on the site. One night stopover & absolutely no complaints. The field was busy with a few large groups but I was considerately pitched in the far corner. There was no late night noise & the site was clean & well maintained & well priced. Nice little nature trail, goats, lakes & a fab little shop well stocked with all the essentials. No hesitation in recommending.
