This campsite is in a beautiful location, has lots of pitches and I can imagine in the summer it's bustling but at this time of year it felt bleak. The toliet block was interesting. It had separate entrances for men and women but they both lead to the same communal facility. I went as a solo female camper and although I was safe enough, I was in a large field alone, hidden from view and felt a b...

Although a lovely campsite, the showers at amenity block 2 definitely needs updating (the showers has dark wood panels and were not as clean as expected). We were in paddock 6 pitch 10 and has several campers trying to pitch at 9 under an acorn tree they had to move after 1 night, the acorns kept dropping on their roof. Good campsite.. Only small gripe was understandiable, as it was a busy weekend so the showers went cold very quickly. I would use the site in the future. Bonus was the food available on the site. Can highly recommend the garlic bread. The bar was fairly priced against pubs in the surrounding area. The lakes were popular lovely to see 3 generations fishing together. Gorgeous area set in nature. C...

One night stopover & absolutely no complaints. The field was busy with a few large groups but I was considerately pitched in the far corner. There was no late night noise & the site was clean & well maintained & well priced. Nice little nature trail, goats, lakes & a fab little shop well stocked with all the essentials. No hesitation in recommending.
