Beautiful location with a very cosy cottage where you feel at home! I stayed with my partner during Valentines weekend and the setting was perfect. The host is very friendly and helpful with easy communication. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would most definately stay here again!

We had the pleasure of attending our friends'wedding here and we stayed on site in the lodge which had a loft double bed and a second loft area as an extra bedroom/chill area. Rooms were cute and comfy, very hot inside the pod so be mindful in the summer that you will need to sleep with the doors open if you’re hot blooded like us! Backs onto train track so a bit noisy sometimes but surroundings are cute and only 8 min drive to Newark with lots of restaurants and pubs. Nigel was great at responding to any questions, super quick and informative, we would deffo stay again...

What a fantastic stay with had at Brakenxcapes! We stayed in The Fern Cottage which was a lot bigger than the photos! The decor was lovely and it had everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable! The hot tub was a lovely added feature. We brought our 2 dogs and as we had a secure garden with grass it was great for them too. We go away as a couple every month for a bit of us time, and this place did not disappoint us! I don’t usually return to places as I like to travel around however we will definitely be returning next month.
