Camping Tollymore Forest Park

I was bagpacking with my friend across the mourn mountains to Newcastle and we came across the Tollymore Forest. We where happy to find that we where able to settle our tents at a price of 23 pounds for us two. Gr8 weekend had by the family as always when staying in tollymore. Plenty to do whether it's out in nature enjoying the fresh air or heading into castlewellan or newcastle both 15 minutes max drive. Very well run site with everything needed for a great stay. A++++

Great pitches and amenities for electric hook up for caravans and motorhomes. Plenty of bins, taps and a waste disposal point. Shower and toilet block clean and warm even on a frosty, winter weekend at the start of January. Right inside Tollymore Forest Park with lots of walks and trails for walkers, bikers and bridle paths.

The camping spaces have plenty of room and are close to water taps,toilets and showers. It is very well maintained and the views and walks are lovely. It is a dog friendly campsite which is a bonus.

The Camp Site at Tollymore is a lovely facility. Very clean and tidy, showers and bathrooms are heated. Fresh water points around the site. And the views must be some of the best in the world at any camp site.
