The hot tub was not checked or cleaned or serviced the whole four days we were there. They only gave us one towel each for the entire four days and said we would have to pay £4 each for another towel despite the fact that we were using the hot tub and the shower. Me and my friend booked this last minute deal for a quick getaway, perfect location for us due to traveling from different cities. Very quiet area surrounded by the country and forest behind the site. The pictures do not do this justice as more spacious than anticipated. Amazing little get away for a few days. One bedroom lodge with a log burner and hot tub. Lovely little basic food basket ready for our arrival. Accessible to some lovely places we visited for the Xmas markets such as Stroud, Cirencester and Gloucester. Can't wait to go again.

What a gem of a place. We booked spare of the moment, so we were not expecting a great deal. But the lodge we stayed in was superb, well equipped, full size beds and shower. As 2 of pir party are over 6'3. Location was perfect quiet and peaceful and close to places to visit. We will be staying here again in the summer.

The site has a lot of potential and it is nice having a cafe on site. The road noise is not that bad as other reviews have suggested however this is where the positives end for us.This week stay is the worst we have experienced and we even left the site two days early. Whilst the shower / toilet facilities are desperately in need of work but the owners did acknowledge this in their welcome email. ...
