Crossfells Campsite

Fantastic location for visiting the Lakes with great vistas. Great hospitality provided by the hosts Craig and Liz. Thoroughly recommended.

Love this campsite. Since discovering it, we have been back twice within a short space of time because it so nice. So quiet with extremely generous sized pitches with the lovely touch of a picnic table next to the pitches as well. What we loved about this was that the owners have taken a lot of care to not sacrifice the beautifully natural space for too many pitches like some do. You really do fee...

Stayed 1 night on our way further north. We were on an electric hard standing pitch. Toilet was clean, no showers which is stated on booking and was fine. Nice quiet, small site in a great location from main roads. We would stay again.

What an absolute gem of a place, quiet and so peaceful, Local pubs are a lively place to see the locals. The owner Craig who we met personally is a real nice guy and very helpful, there are toilets and a drinking tap also chemical disposal point. There are no showers which it does say on the website. What a gem! Small, quiet and with good, clean facilities. No shower, but we only stayed one night so no problem. Two toilets - one male, one female. They are spotless. There's a nice walk to the local pub too. Will definitely be back.
