Stayed on the campervan site. I'd recommend the L(ake) pitches - W(oodland) pitches are not as flat. Stunning views, facilities, service, space, and walking / cycling. Even a Prosecco on arrival! I am finally getting round to doing our review! We have come here the last 2 years & I used to spend my childhood holidays here. The service is outstanding, the lodges are so clean & well equipped. Scenery is lovely, restaurants has lovely people working and great food! Came in winter snowing too, the kids absolutely loved it! But the heating in our lodge with very fiddly we would turn it up because it was cold and it would keep resetting but to a cold temperature. But overall was great recommend star watching in the hot tub!

Sadly not what it used to be. We visit Kielder every year in winter. We have stayed at various places and this isn't a favourite. The cabins are delightful with many modern additions.
