White Cross Bay is in a great location, just a short drive (or walk) into Windermere. However, the park management and communication needs improving ASAP. Would try Fallbarrow instead. We have just spent half term here and we're massively impressed with our accommodation and location of the site to Windermere. We had a deluxe lodge with hot tub and it was spotlessly clean, we loved the location of it as it was very private with its own decking & garden. We also had towels included which was a nice bonus. Was a pleasant stay. However was disappointed with the quality of the resort and lodge. We paid extra for a deluxe lodge and I wouldn’t call it that, it was clean but tired. The fridge was completely frozen so froze all our food and drinks. The shower tray was broken. Not enough equipment is provided in the kitchens and this needs to be looked at as per previous reviews.
