Percy Wood Holiday Park

Easy to get to but I wouldn't go in winter. We've just been and as we have a dog it's not very well lit. Also with the snow then the rain the road turned into sheet ice which turned into an eventful time trying to walk the dog and then slide my car up the hill when we had to leave. Being a big site I thought the roads would've been gritted considering there's buggys ans tractors on site

Check in was from 4pm but reception closed at 5, had to wait for park ranger until 6 to get keys. Caravan was nothing like photos on website, was pretty basic inside. Nothing to clean the inside. Bed sheets had big dirty yellow/brown stains and black hairs on them. All carpets and furniture had stains all over. Hot tub had alot of floaters from trees overhead. Booked for 4 nights to visit Alnwick Castle. Vans are new, clean and well spaced out. Good play park for the kids and close to free tennis and lawn bowl facilities at local Nelsons by the park cafe. We walked here each day for food and activities

We stayed in a beautiful, clean lodge with a hot tub. It was a peaceful week away during the summer holidays. The site was very relaxing. Our puppy loved the secure field and any walks around the site to meet other pooch friends, which there were lots of! Location was a 20-30 min drive to nearby beaches, which was perfect. We had a lovely stay at this family-friendly park in a fantastic location. We stayed in a two-bedroom static caravan with a hot tub, which was spacious, well-maintained, and of good quality. The hot tub was a great size and felt nicely private.
