About a mile from Morpeth, Vyner Park is a modest nature reserve that punches above its weight if you're after a proper walk without the crowds. The woodland here is genuinely peaceful - mixed broadleaves and conifers that feel genuinely quiet even on weekends. You'll find a network of trails winding through the reserve, ranging from gentle loops to longer explorations depending on your mood.

Wildlife spotters will find it worthwhile. The park attracts woodpeckers, nuthatches, and all the usual woodland birds if you're patient and bring binoculars.
