Red Squirrel Campsite Scotland

Campsite was open in early February unlike most campsites that close off season. The hospitality of the gentleman at the reception was lovely. Beautiful spot near the river with views of snow clad peaks welcomed us into the morning. Coffee was delicious from the truck at the campsite. Facilities were very clean and very well maintained. 5 stars!

This is a great campsite. The location is in a wood by a river in Glencoe, and when we stayed in early January there was snow all around, which made it even more scenic. We sat outside the van with one of the sites fire pits for a couple of hours, it was -4 but we loved it. The showers & toilets were kept nice & clean, and warm. We will definitely be back.

Not my favourite campsite. The staff are very friendly and it’s a gorgeous location and very spacious. It has no electricity camper points which is pointed out when booking, the facilities are clean but outdated and in a prefab. Next time I’m in this area I will just pull in somewhere and park for the night. Expensive for what it is.

Absolutely great place to stay, excellent toilet and shower facilities very clean. Staff are so welcoming and helpful. Great food bar and coffee trailer. Red squirrel camp site provides fire pit at very reasonable price including firewood fire lighter and matches. Lots of lovely walking trails and a nice walk to Ballachulish village where there is a well stocked co-op shop and visitors center. Ver...

Lovely simple campsite. Really enjoyed our stop over here. Very peaceful, especially without all the big mobile homes. Showers were hot and clean. Walked down to the pub and there was a path along the road to make the walk safe.
