Shays Farm Campsite

I recently spent the weekend in Brown Hare glamping pod at Shays and honestly, it was spot on from the moment we arrived. The pod was clean, stylish, and super comfortable. Lisa was brilliant too – really welcoming and it was nice to have that personal welcome. We genuinely didn’t want to leave and could have happily stayed much longer. We’ll absolutely be coming back!

Lovely, spacious clean site. Showers were huge, lots of room to dry yourself also lovely and warm which was a godsend as it was January and freezing. Great safe area for our Labrador to run around. Good short walk to nearest pub with great food and friendly staff. Straight forward check in, very friendly and gave us all the information needed.

Good: The campsite is pretty, clean, and tidy. It has everything you need. The welcome was very friendly. The showers are very spacious and clean. But: Although they appear to be quite new, they are not proper showers, but push-button showers. Why would anyone do that? It's so rude! Even worse: the skylights are open, it's cold and dark in autumn – and then there's no heating! Drying off was a fro...

Can't say much,only perfect in every way. Staff very helpful & friendly,pitches well maintained & spacious, shower block perfectly clean & nice smelling too,washing area always clean with fridge/freezer to use. Very spacious pitches for camping, large shower blocks that are very clean and great hot showers! Fridge and freezer free to use, laundry room and wash up room very good. Plenty of wildlife from rabbit, owls, hedgehogs etc. Very friendly and welcoming owner. Small on site shop for essentials. Grounds very well maintained. Pitch 13 has loads of space 😉.
