Overall, this is a great place to camp. The owners, Pam and Oscar Prince, are the perfect hosts. The scenery is beautiful and there are many walks and place to explore in the surrounding area. I had a short stay between the 26th and the 28th of September. Yes the facilities could do with a little upgrade however this did not detract from me enjoying my first solo campervan overnight stay. Could not fault this beautiful campsite. Almost don’t want to leave a review as I don’t want others to know about it!! Lovely welcome from Oscar the owner. Facilities immaculate. Our pitch was next to the stream which our dog loved. Walks straight from the site into beautiful countryside and hills. Can’t wait to return for a longer time.

This is a beautiful little site right next to the river, with some stunning views and walks. The pitches are well spaced out and nice and level. There are two pubs within easy walking distance, which are very hand if you want an evening meal. The toilet and showers could do with updating but are clean and tidy. There isn't any WiFi, and phone signals are hit or miss. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful location. Very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Clean facilities. Well kept tidy site. Walks straight from site and pub within walking distance too. Stayed 4 nights this time ... our 2nd visit ... and we'll definitely be back again.

We particularly appreciated the rubber matting supplies on each pitch to ensure the wet weather didn’t create a mud bath and it worked very well. Amazing walks from the site and 2 pubs within easy walking distance. Perfect site for us and we can’t wait to g...
