Smithy Park

Lovely caravan site, well kept, toilet/showers well cared for.

Site is well kept and nicely laid out. Pitches are spacious and open. Facilities are good. Clean with hot showers. Abermule Arms was amazing for food on the Friday evening (dog friendly in the bar or garden). Canal walk to Newtown and bus back. Bus to Montgomery for a potter. The only downside is a constant drone from A483. Not enough to keep you awake but there.

A little gem of a caravan park, tucked away from the main yet easily accessible. Modern clean facilities, spacious level pitches which are fully serviced pitches. Location is perfect for a spot of fishing, relaxing or taking on the many walks directly from the site. Abermule Inn is an easy 3 minutes stroll away the food is amazing. Another great stay at Smithy. Stayed a couple of nights this August. Very friendly and welcoming owners. Good facilities nice and clean. Great place to stay for visiting Powys Castle. Fully serviced pitches. Large childrens play area. River runs at the back of the site nice place to go and sit and watch the river run by.

Absolutely a fantastic site, from arriving to leaving both my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Smithy Park. The reception was good explaining our pitch etc. The pitches are all level and fully serviced with grass for the awning. The toilet/shower block was immaculate with good showers.
