Solway Holiday Park

Dreadful service. Arcade food was not available to order and I had to ask in the restaurant. My dog with me so I couldn't enter the restaurant. Eventually ordered while reception looked after my dog. Was charged restaurant price instead of fast food arcade. £7 for 3 chicken strips and tiny piece of lettuce. Complained and balshy reply from the so-called restaurant manager. We had a brilliant weekend at Solway! There was plenty to do both on and off the park. perfect for families or anyone looking for a relaxing break. We loved the lovely walk along the front with beautiful sunsets. The chalets were spacious, clean, and well-equipped and the hot tub was definitely a bonus. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. We’ll definitely be back!

Staying on the touring site which is for us very good BUT, I wouldn't want to be on certain pitches if we had any serious rain, the signs are there that a lot of the pitches will be very wet indeed. We did have a couple of maintenance issues—our toilet was leaking and not flushing properly, and the hot tub wasn’t heating up—but the team were quick to respond and keen to help. Stayed bank holiday weekend, just me and two children (5 and 9). Stayed in a caravan. We did meet with friends who were staying in the touring part (which had great showers and toilet facilities). Caravan was spacious and had the usual utensils etc in, beds were really comfy.
