Had an amazing stay in a wigwam here at soloway view. The wigwam was so warm, clean and spacious. The site has 2 cook houses for rainy days so you can sit indoors if the weather gets a bit bleak or cold. The site had everything you need, great walks for dogs and even frissby golf. Short drive to Kirkcudbright for a potter and cuppa. Host was helpful and approachable 🤗🤗🤗

Such a peaceful location. Stunning views, friendly owners, clean facilities, hot showers, fire pits with BBQ grills and benches on pitches. Lovely beaches nearby for safe paddling.

A great place to stay to explore the area. The camp site has great facilities, including a laundry room! There’s a few lovely walks right from the campsite you can take with beautiful views. A very friendly family run site who helped us hugely when our van wouldn’t start - would definitely recommend and would definitely return!

Due to a very bad weather forecast, we spontaneously decided to stay at this wonderful campsite instead of going further north. We called in the afternoon and asked if there was space for two people and if check-in after 6 p.m. would be okay. It was – and we are more than happy to have found this beautiful place.
