Lovely campsite! Came away for the home ed camp from Norfolk with my family and had a lovely stay. Some of our friends joined us too and had a lovely stay. Staff are very friendly and welcoming which is always appreciated, and the site itself is beautiful. We had a lovely night camping here in August. Lovely location, huge camp site. Wood fire was a highlight. Owner was super helpful. We chatted about running a campsite and I was astonished by the costs (e.g.£27,000 for 6 months of rubbish collection!). Please visit and spend liberally when you do, otherwise we’ll lose gems like this.

We’ve been back twice now. Alan the owner has made us so welcome both times and runs the campsite brilliantly. You can arrive and leave at anytime and the best part for me is the ability to have campfires. You can only use kindling and logs that you buy from the camp shop but these are very reasonably priced. Lovely location in the river Deb, just off the A12. Electric and non electric pitches. We had a nice spot right but the river, pleasant willow trees offering shade. Fires are permitted, but only with wood purchased at the camp shop. Fires can be made anywhere pretty much, so watch out for former campfire 'holes' in the field.
