The Pretty Thing

Really nice place. Some kind visitors from previous week had blocked chemical disposal point with wet wipes! When owners told they sorted it. As end of season it was a little difficult to get hold of them but when we did they were very helpful. They were not checking and cleaning the site each day but did allow us to stay an extra day even though closed.

Phil was particularly lovely! Such friendly and kind people. I would highly reccomend staying at the pretty thing, such a can do attitude! Thank you for having us!

Great place with lots of nice touches: great space for kids to play, picnic tables and fire pits, a place to buy coffees and snacks. Very friendly and sociable for the kids but quiet after 10! Really lovely stay.

I was in a tent! Lovely and quite but went during the week before the school holidays. Owners were very helpful. Site lovely and clean as well as facilities!

A warm welcome in a well run establishment. Lovely grass pitches, very level too. Showers and toilets were super clean, pitches was spaced out and each pitch is a generous size. Plenty of room for kids to play. Gated and secure, £25 for one night no EHU, (£29 with EHU). 15-20mins drive to Clacton. Communial fridge for those who dont have one, there is a little coffee shop on site too and the owner...
