Wild Rose Holiday Park

Facilities were good, pool was great. Soft play for the kids was a lovely touch. What let the whole holiday down was the attitude of the staff. Made us feel really unwelcome in the restaurant and just point blank rude to be honest. Food was also well below a good standard especially for the price.

Came to wild rose holiday park with my 6 year old son, in February half term. Our accommodations was for 4 people, it was great for the 2 of us, possibly 3 at a push. Hive 3 our accommodation, had a very large gap in the patio doors, had to have the curtains drawn even in the day to stop the cold from coming in and put pillows up against the door. Food was great value for money — you don’t feel like you’re being ripped off with cheap frozen stuff. Everything was good quality, tasty, and freshly made. The kids eat for free too, which is a massive bonus for families. Holiday parks should take a leaf out of Wild Rose in Appleby this is how it should be done. Highly recommend!

Just returned from Wild Rose in Cumbria, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay with 2 adults and 3 x under 5's. The caravan was clean and cosy, and the facilities and entertainment were very good for the little ones. The pool was thoroughly enjoyed and clean.
