Lovely camp site great facilities. Busy areas and quiet areas. Pitches are generally quite big and we’ve always had a level pitch. Stayed a few times. Staff great. It is out of the way and if you do not have access to a car will need to walk a few mile to public transport of use taxi’s. There is a bar on site can get busy, meals are alway nice. Small village of Stavely 20-30 min walk away via trac...

Lovely site between Kendal and Windermere. 20 minute walk to the bus stop that takes you to both towns and beyond to Ambleside, Keswick. Pub on site with good beer and food. Wardens very friendly and helpful

Very nicely landscaped site which never feels crowded. Staff were amazing. Facilities are nice and clean. Great scenic footpath walk from the site into Staveley. Worth a visit on its own, also, the train station is ideal for getting to Kendal or Windermere. Not too impressed with the onsite pub. But that is not affiliated with the campsite.

One of the largest club sites that I have stayed on, but it was absolutely brilliant. Spacious pitches organised into interesting groups giving feel of a smaller site. Staff were welcoming and keeping busy all day maintaining and manicuring the grounds. Real bonus is there is a pub on site. "The Whistling Pig" Will return

The site is well kept and clean, secure with barrier entrance/exit, they also hire pods and caravans, pub on site is really useful, easy access to the lakes. Toilet blocks are dated but kept very clean and there was pl...
